Most "U.S. address" services are commercial mail-receiving agencies — a suite number at a retail storefront or office park. Many address databases flag those as commercial.
Stateside addresses are real residential properties. Your mail arrives at a home, is handled by vetted staff, and is managed by you online.
Some financial institutions distinguish between residential addresses and commercial mail-receiving addresses. Acceptance ultimately depends on the institution and your individual application.

"What sold me was the honesty. They told me exactly what the address does and doesn't do, and it's done exactly that."
"I moved abroad after fifteen years in the States. My statements, tax mail and card renewals now all go to one place I can check from my phone."
"Company mail and personal mail at the same address, scanned the same day. It's the one piece of infrastructure I never think about."

Contact supportYes. Every Stateside address is a residential property. It is not a P.O. box and not a suite number at a commercial mail-receiving storefront. Mail is received in your name and handled by vetted staff.
We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Some financial institutions distinguish between residential addresses and commercial mail-receiving addresses. Acceptance ultimately depends on the institution and your individual application, including factors like citizenship, tax status and the product you're applying for.
No. A mailing address doesn't change your residency, tax residency or immigration status. If a form asks where you physically live, answer truthfully. We're happy to point you to the right kind of professional if you need tax or legal advice.
Your plan includes an address confirmation letter and a signed service agreement in your legal name, showing the address assigned to you. You can download both from your dashboard at any time. If you need more, you can add a lease agreement ($350 one-time, by request, limited availability), renter's insurance ($49 one-time) or a mobile phone bill ($49 one-time).
Form 1583 applies to commercial mail-receiving agencies. Because Stateside addresses are residential, there's no Form 1583 or notary appointment. We do verify your identity online before activation.
Yes. Letters, envelopes and small to medium packages are all supported. Packages can be held, photographed, consolidated and forwarded. Prohibited and hazardous items aren't accepted.
Yes. Your plan includes mail for one business you own at the same address. It isn't a registered agent service, so you'll still need a registered agent in your state of formation.
You'll have 30 days to forward or download remaining mail. After that, unclaimed items are securely shredded and your address is retired from your account. Please update your address with institutions before cancelling.
